This watercolor painting is a portrait of my sister. I used mostly watercolor and watercolor pencils. Originally I was going to paint using normal colors, but then I decided to use bold colors to represent her outgoing and bubbly personality. I used purples and greens for the color contrast. I decided on purple because it's her favorite color. I feel like my painting perfectly represents my sister Gia.
