For my sculpture, I chose to sculpt a dragon fruit. I find dragonfruit to be very interesting and unique. I love how the outside has a lot of texture and spikes while also having beautiful coloring. I used paper mache to sculpt the main portion of the dragonfruit and then cut individual spikes from cardboard and then painted with acrylic paints. I tried to capture all the unique texture and shape of the fruit.
