She is my first and (so far) only human I've ever painted. I've always just been too afraid of messing up or taking a risk to paint one. To be honest, I don't know what I was feeling when I was painting or what the meaning behind her is. But the thing about her that stands out to me is that she seems perfect. The closer you look, the more imperfections you can see. Her skin color is different, her background is messed up and unfinished, but it still looks right. When I showed the painting to my friends, they all assumed she is me because her hair is black and her skin is brown, I don't think she's me. I don't know who she is or who I was trying to paint. I don't know a lot when it comes to my paintings, they just make me feel good.
