Hi, I'm Della Terrell, I'm 13 and in the 8th grade at Charleston County School of the Arts. I've been drawing since I was little, I love to look back at my drawings from kindergarten and elementary school to see what my creative spirit sparked as a child. I'm glad I decided to keep honing my skills because art has become a way for me to express my imagination and any pent-up emotions I can't express in the confines of school and daily life. Going to an art-specific school has been life-changing, having 90 minutes a day to dedicate to my passion has helped me grow exponentially as a student and an artist. I'm so grateful to my art teacher and my friends and family who have all supported me along the way. I encourage anyone to try art, no matter what it is, it is beautiful and unique to everyone and it will change your life.
