For my artwork, I took some photos of my friend. I was trying to capture different emotions through different lighting and angles. I printed colored and black and white copies of this image. I used an X-acto knife to cut away pieces of the black and white image so the colored areas would show through. After, I took a photo of it and put it in Pixlr to edit the image. I converted the color to blue for a more solemn mood, and enhanced the cut away area to give more of a peeled effect to represent the layers of her emotion.
