The purpose of my piece, "Protest," is to shine a light on the urgent issue of endangered animals and how our actions affect their homes. When creating this project, I wanted to really connect with the animals I portrayed, conveying a sense of peace and dignity that they deserve. I wanted to demonstrate that neither animals nor humans need to resort to violence to express their message. While humans have had their basic rights protected, many animals continue to suffer from a lack of protection. To capture their struggle for recognition and rights, I arranged them in my artwork from different angles and perspectives. This setup really represents their journey as they come into our neighborhoods, trying to share their stories and stand up for themselves. The goal is to remind viewers of the importance of coexistence and respect between humans and the natural world.
