When creating this art piece, Halloween was around the corner, and I wanted to combine two of my favorite elements together-death and the unusual. I made a large skull mask with funhouse mirrors that make the reflection funky and unnatural. I made the base first out of hard paper that I folded and hot glued together to form a skull, and then attached the mirrors on top, cutting and shaping to match the skull's angles. My goal was to draw attention to the mirrors, but also make it very visible that it is still a skull.
