My name is Elaine and I'm in 3rd grade. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love art. I have been creating artwork from a very young age, and when I grow up, I want to be an art teacher and an illustrator. I participate in the Art Visions program at my school, which gives me the opportunity to express my creativity and learn new techniques, such as neurographic art. I also take art lessons, which have helped me to develop my skills and grow as an artist. I've learned perspective drawing, shading, color theory, and sculpture. I enjoy trying out different mediums and exploring different types of art. Last summer I took a clay camp where I learned to build and create with clay coils. I also took a painting camp and got more practice with acrylics. This summer I plan to learn how to throw on the pottery wheel. I love to express myself through vibrant colors and fun details. Being creative is my happy place, and I like to bring joy to others through my artwork.
