I started experimenting with collage and cutting medical books, old papers and magazines. My process becomes an appropriation of these objects by cutting, covering, hiding, (re)assembling in the manner of a palimpsest. Collaging opens a new perspective of my identity and has been a dialogue with my uncertainty and ultimately connection with the outside world. Through observation of the paper cuts,I became an observer of the world around me. This collage Elements II is a dialogue around climate change and our position as an Human Being. Most of the material source comes from coastal maps, fish anatomy and eyes, veins as river patterns. I used the picture of a hurricane to build the inside of the skull as well. Collaging is a way to be in touch with the world around me concealing art, science and poetry.
