Carlos Moega, is a contemporary artist living between the Blueridge Mountains in Georgia and
Miami Beach. As a self-taught artist, his work does not follow a plan or a technique that he has learned; rather, intuition which allows the artist to have a strong connection to his art. He is always
discovering new techniques and trying new things to evolve. His works are inspired by
places he has visited as well as the people and social issues, some of which he addresses
satirically. From different distances, the complexity of his work reveals itself to the viewer. The works
are loud, large and appear from close up as well as from the distance.
