Ana Thompson

Evans, GA

Mexican born and a resident of Georgia since 1990, Ana has been influenced by ancient and modern artists as well as impressionists, surrealists, and tonality. She attended Augusta University where she took many courses on ceramics, drawing and painting.







Ana's diverse work, mostly in oil, acrylic, and pastels includes landscapes, portraits, still life and abstracts and has been exhibited at several local venues. Some of her paintings and ceramic pieces have also been featured in the Sand Hills magazine. Four of her paintings from the series on ìTeethî are permanently exhibited at The Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. She is a member of the Artists Guild of Columbia County and the Greater Augusta Arts Council.



The current submission is a landscape painted to remind viewers of the beautiful colors in nature.
