Simply complete the form, and be sure to include your mobile number so you can vote via text. To activate your votes, check in at the Welcome Center at 110 E. Main Street, TRAX Visual Art Center, Jones-Carter Gallery, Acline Studios or The Rob during the festival. Activation Stations open at 11am-7pm Friday, April 25th, and then follow regular open hours for the duration of the festival. On Saturday, May 3, please be reminded that VOTING ENDS PROMPTLY at 4PM so please activate your registration by 3:45PM!

Artist Statement

I am a self-taught quilling artist who never stops learning more. Quilling or paper filigree is an art form involving the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. Each element needs its own special attention; from the quality of the paper, to the glue used. From the background that adds an extra layer of depth, to the frame that finishes it off. I can't draw or paint to save my life, but give me paper and glue, and magic will happen. I am certified by the North American Quilling Guild. My medium is very humble and very simple - paper. Strips of paper in a myriad of colors, thicknesses and weights. There's no better feeling than creating something amazing out of such a versatile material. Mother Nature is my biggest inspiration, be it flora or fauna, or the underwater world.
