Jamie Lester lives in Morgantown, WV. Lester was born on September 7th, 1974 in Oceana, West Virginia, a small mining town in Wyoming County. After graduating from West Virginia University in 1997, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, he formed Lester Sculpture, specializing in figurative works through sculpture, paintings, and other art mediums.
His professional career began post graduation and he has been successfully self-employed for over 25 years. Pivotal moments in his career include designing the obverse side of the West Virginia State Commemorative Quarter, sculpting The Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance, The Jerry West Statue, and The Don Knotts Statue. Lester entered the NFT art world with Bird Girl NFT in January 2022. Lester sculpted over 30 large scale bronze statues for the Boy Scouts of America from 2023- 2023, including The Ascending Eagle, a tribute to women in Scouting.
