I graduated from the Murray State University Department of Art and Design, with a degree in photography and graphic design. Over the years I have worked in many creatively diverse roles in the architectural, industrial, and higher education fields as a photographer and graphic designer. My assignments required that I be adaptable to many situations, master numerous techniques, styles, and media, including the ever-changing world of computer graphic technology as a medium. The creative adaptability that I had to develop just to remain viable in the commercial world had the positive influence of my enjoying more divergent interests and capabilities in regards to my personal work. This of course has resulted in more experimentation on my part and helps me avoid the creative doldrums. The end game of this approach tends to make me more prolific in the output of my work, but most importantly l avoid being categorized by a singly defined niche.
