I've been an artist for many years working as a graphic designer, a community art advocate, and an adjunct faculty member teaching graphic design and typography. I've been fortunate to live in a variety of places including five of the states that ArtFields covers.







My work focuses on observing life in the Lowcountry of South Carolina and telling the stories that have been forgotten or intentionally lost. Art is a vehicle for calling attention to community issues such as flooding while preserving and recording history. Zealous over-development is changing the face of my community by threatening the landscape, architecture, and demographics of the Lowcountry.







My art advocacy has included working with children during summer workshops at the Boys and Girls Club in the Lowcountry and directing an art appreciation/discussion program tied to curriculum studies for elementary students in Pennsylvania.







I am an alum of Iowa State University with a BA in Graphic Design.
