Heather Deyling

Heather Deyling is a multimedia artist whose current and ongoing body of work, the "Invented Hybrids" series, includes sculpture, drawing and installation. Her studio practice is informed by research and observation of natural forms, eco-fiction and the effects of climate change. She earned an MFA in painting from Tyler School of Art, Temple University and a BFA from Kent State University. Deyling has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across the United States, including recent solo exhibitions at the Spartanburg Art Museum in Spartanburg, SC, Day and Night Projects, Atlanta, GA, Athens Institute for Contemporary Art, Athens, GA and Greenville Center for Creative Arts, Greenville, SC. She is represented by Kai Lin Art, Atlanta, GA and Thornback Gallery, Greenville, SC. Deyling lives and works in Atlanta.
