Gerry O'Meara is a retired physician and ceramic artist whose work celebrates the intersection of nature, function, and discovery. Working primarily on the wheel, she creates functional ware enriched with nature-inspired glazes and found-object embellishments that transform everyday forms into vessels of quiet reflection. Each piece reflects a dialogue between the organic and the intentional -- where texture, color, and form echo the landscapes that inspire them. O'Meara's work continues to evolve through exploration of surface and material, inviting viewers to find beauty in the interplay between the handmade and the natural world.



Holding a BFA from UGA, O'Meara has exhibited in numerous juried shows and completed a range of private commissions. Her upcoming duo exhibition further expands this exploration, offering new perspectives on clay as both medium and message.
