Ellie Boos

My name is Ellie Boos and I am a junior in the Advanced Art Major at AAST, Academy of Arts, Science, and Technology, in South Carolina. At this amazing school I use the opportunities given to me by my teachers to grow my current knowledge of art. Each day I build and learn skills that will be crucial moving on to college and choosing a career path. In this fabulous studio I learn how to write statements, properly criticize and reflect on others’ pieces, improve public speaking, and work alongside other artists. Throughout the remainder of my junior year I plan to build on my current skill as an artist and experiment as much as possible. In my art, I tend to depict a variety of characters and their feelings or emotions and tend to focus on how the piece makes my viewer feel and react. Going forward, from here, I hope to narrow my broad interests down to something that will soon become my senior mastery.
