Artist Statement

Growth. Growth can be interpreted in many different ways. Growth can be spiritual, mental, and physical. All these characteristics are interwoven to create the person I want to become. Beginning with a strong foundation and connected by the fiber of faith, I continue to weave myself. Growing and evolving into the person I want to become has had many challenges. I had to find my way with my faith and my friends.

Hannah Harrison

Myrtle Beach, SC

My name is Hannah Harrison, and I am a double major in Advanced Art and Environmental Engineering with Clean Energy. I am from Myrtle Beach, SC; and I am enrolled at The Academy for the Arts Science and Technology (AAST). I love to create 3-D and 2-D art using wood and other natural materials. I can relate my artwork back to our environment when using natural materials. I am a big outdoor go-getter person, so I love to be involved in the environment. I have taken AP environmental science to help with my Environmental Engineering Major. I am also interested in the study of Forensic Science and Criminal Justice.
