I started the project off with the main focus of someone being pulled into what represents a void. This piece is supposed to mean something different to everyone, with the thought in mind that everyone has their own struggles and their own type of “void." I chose to make a vintage looking bathtub and tile, opposed to a more modern look, to represent an old feeling coming back and to give an eerie essence. Additionally, the hands symbolize purity being pulled into darkness, which is the main theme of my artwork
