Artist Statement

In this drawing of a girl, I tried to capture what a girl in middle school typically looks like. The most interesting part of the drawing is her eyes with the light reflecting. Also, the goal was not to make every feature perfect but to make them realistic.

I am a 7th Grade student at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Greenville, SC. I have been painting for several years. Even though I love doing all types of art, painting has always been my favorite.
