This art piece is about one of my original character named Floris, and she is a priest. Everyone, including her, who belong to the clergy are very corrupt and will get rid of anyone who is seen as a threat. Floris was the one in charged with punishments and executions, which also included her friends and family. Essentially, the hands at the bottom are meant to represent her friends, whom she drove away just to keep her own life. The lilies are meant to symbolize the sadness and death that she, herself caused. I think that the way that Floris is presented her is pretty obvious that she's seen as almost like a martyr or a saint, with the thorn crown, the lilies on her palm and back of her hand as well as the halo behind her head.
