When making this piece, I knew that the pose I would choose would determine the whole mood. The girl's back facing towards the audience was something I knew I wanted. It gives a sense of mystery to who she is, what she may be, or what she's thinking. This leaves the viewer to create their own creative vision in their head about the girl delicately dressed in flowers. When it comes to the clothing, I attempted to make a cottage lady look with the bonnet and the flowed front piece of her dress. The clothing combined with the pose and the facial expression really completes the soft mood.
