For my artwork, I drew a group of luminous jellyfishes in the deep sea. My inspiration comes from my imagination, along with videos I've seen of jellyfish. I imagined a group of jellyfish: big, small, some different, some the same, all flowing carelessly in the sea. As they flow through the deep waters, they glow and light up their path-like how Neptune the planet gives off the image of shimmering. To help bring my artwork to life, I used oil pastels, alcohol markers, and colored pencils. This piece was experimental as well, stepping outside of my comfort zone and using two materials I haven't before. I was worried at first if it would come out to my liking, but it came out more beautiful than I could ever imagine.
