At the time I made this painting, I was really interested in Decora/ Harajuku fashion. I liked the bright colors and accessories that people who dressed up in the Decora fashion wore so I decided to make a painting based off of this Japanese fashion. I added a lot of clips, bows, necklaces, bracelets, rings and bright colors. I used reference photos and my own hair clips to make it more realistic. I paid attention to the lighting and features to get a real affect. Overall, I really liked the painting and its bright, colorful accessories and features.
