Artist Statement

The idea for my agamograph came from my art teacher Mrs. Carter at TKA. I started doing zen tangles and giving them to my classmates to decorate their Chromebooks. Zen tangles help me calm down and reduce any anxiety. This piece (Balloons) started out black and white and then my mom recommended that I add warm and cool colors. Mrs. Carter helped me make the 3-D effect.

I am 10 years old and I go to The Kings Academy in Florence, SC. I do art in my free time. I play soccer (goal keep) for FSA. I enjoy reading and competed in the Battle of the Books recently for my school. I am the junior mascot lion for TKA. I enjoy playing video games on my Nintendo Switch.
