This artwork was created using a punch needle tool. I was introduced to the punch needle technique from a Christmas present I received. I thought it was a really cool way to make art & I wanted to experiment more with this technique. So, I just got a fabric scrap & drew a simple outline and started creating my design. For the "paths" I used a lot of different colors of yarn and created the amazing spectrum of colors. Once I finished making it, I realized that you could turn it either way. You can put it upright with all the different colors as the mountains and the turquoise as the sky, or you can flip it upside down and all the colors are in the sky and the turquoise is the mountains. I think it looks great both ways, but I think its cooler with all the colors as the mountains and the turquoise as the sky because it looks like "Vibrant Paths." I had a lot of fun creating this punch needle piece, and I hope you can enjoy it!
