For this photo, I went outside after it rained the night prior. I was excited to see flowers beginning to bloom after the long and cold winter. I used a macro attachment to my camera and used the sunlight to my advantage when I captured the perfect shot. The purple petals and yellow center contrast each other perfectly. The best part about this photo is the speck of yellow in the raindrop, which is surrounded by the purple.
