My name is Gracie VanWagenen, I am a senior at Charleston County School of the Arts where I have studied visual arts since the sixth grade. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, as a little kid I was constantly drawing and creating stories whenever I got the chance. Painting allows me to translate my feelings into something tangible and my art is a vital part of how I view myself. The important relationships in my life such as my friends and family consistently inspire me to create art, these connections allow me to work more passionately and efficiently while staying continuously inspired by my environment.
