This artwork is a photography mask piece representing my enduring idea of fantasy; my focus was on my favorite movie and childhood memory, including foxes. When I was younger, I loved the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox. I always thought it was remarkable how a fox could plan a successful heist and speak. I remember I moved into my house around then and watched that movie and played outside. I would venture outside and imagine the foxes next-door to my house were on epic heist adventures around the neighborhood. It was fun imagining them as fantastic foxes, so I recreated that image of those foxes planning heists and having epic cutscenes like I did then. The photos follow the story of Mr. and Mrs. Fox, outside the largest house in the neighborhood, planning their heist and what happened after. This project helped me realize that the most remarkable dreams can be conveyed simply from photography.
