In this piece, I wanted to display the variety of textures and colors through a pile of miscellaneous clothing items, including jeans, hoodies, shoes, boots, and sneakers. The goal was to capture the rich detail of fabric folds and unique textures, creating a visually engaging composition. Using oil pastels, I aimed to enhance the tactile quality of each element, from the soft drape of fabric to the ruggedness of shoes. The vibrant colors and shading not only made the clothing items pop but also contributed to a cohesive and dynamic scene. A colorful watercolor background provided a lively contrast, amplifying the focus on the clothing while also adding depth and complexity to the overall piece.
