My name is Rose and I attend Charleston School of the Arts Middle School. I am in the 7th grade. I have been drawing since I was 3 years old. I like working with charcoal and graphite as well as watercolor, and enjoy drawing portraits. I drew this portrait of myself in charcoal and experimented with the reductive technique. I wanted to create dramatic shadows to capture the eye.
