I created these pieces all with the work of white clay, clay tools, and various glazes. The Teapot was created with numerous techniques and clay devices, using a paint knife and lose slip, I was able to create the wood-like texture, with that, it created abstract points and lines that are like a tree. I used a score tool that created the fur-like look on top of the squirrel. This Mug was constructed with numerous slabs of white clay, scoring and slipping them together to create this shape. Using various sized noodles of clay, I was able to represent roots and how they are different. Both creations were glazed with brands like Elements and Jungle Gems. With the wood-like texture and the eye-catching add-ons of animals and fungi, its opened to show natures most natural creations! The expanding color within the inside of both of the pieces aims to show the abnormalities of nature, nothing is the same though everything is connected.
