Originally, my artwork was an assignment from my ceramics class-abstraction of the human form-which immediately made me think of those weird A.I. videos I kept seeing on TikTok. I did some digging, and came across the user @jonmud and I was extremely enamored. There's not much information about this legend, but he inspired me to create my own iteration in a physical form. The egg like figure was created by accident after I left his featherless body out to dry for too long. Instead of throwing him out, i painted him, made a second feathered bird, and included both in the final product. I felt that it was ironic to find inspiration from A.I. as it lacks the ability to form original works of art.
