For my artwork, I was inspired by a favorite photo of mine of myself as a little girl jumping on an air pillow with my dad. I was looking up at him with pure joy and admiration. I decided to portray the artwork as if you were looking at it through my little kid eyes, thinking my dad was out of this world. As he jumps, he is jumping out of this world into space as a child would see it. I used oil pastels to create the child-like version of outer space, and used colored pencils and acrylic for the more realistic parts of the image.
