My name is Owen and I'm in 1st grade. I really like art because it allows me to express my creativity. I like to draw, paint, and create with clay. I like to practice perspective drawing and make things look realistic. I enjoy trying different types of art. Last summer I went to clay camp and learned how to hand-build using clay coils. Working with clay is a lot of fun. I like the freedom art gives me of being able to create from my mind. I also really love to build with Legos and create my own designs. I enjoy playing outside, riding my bike, basketball, swimming, going to the beach, and taking piano lessons. When I grow up, I want to be an artist and an architect.
