A red wagon carried us into each new world, ferrying us on numerous quests and the journey's home when our tiny legs grew weary. The chariot would wait for our return in a looming barn that kept our secrets, hidden with the old boxes and the broken mower. Even the chores of raking leaves and gathering pecans turned into a magical treasure hunt, with each accomplishment gaining us a small fortune in our youthful eyes. When the night slowly covered our world, our adventures would continue with the hopeful flicker of a campfire casting a luminous light onto the land. Now, when I look through the windows of my new home, I yearn for that enchanting backyard-a realm of wonder and cherished memories.
