My name is Kara deBidart, and I am a junior at St. James High School. I love movies, food, my cats, and writing. I've always had an appreciation for noticing the beauty in the world around us, and this inspired me to pick up photography. In my opinion, being able to capture important or beautiful moments in photo form is magic, and a mesmerizing testament to humans' need for making and retaining good memories. The more I've learned about photography, the closer I feel drawn to wildlife and nature photography specifically. A big inspiration of mine is Ansel Adams. I think spreading the appreciation of nature and it's beauty is important, and art is an amazing outlet for doing so.
