This art piece is multiple exposures. I used three different pictures of the same person, and used them to sculpt a story in one image. I wanted this image to display how gentle and nurturing a teenage girl can be ( the main/clearest image ). In the next image ( her sitting to the side pondering), I wanted to use this to show how a teenage girl will just sit in her own thoughts for hours. This is a crucial time period in a girl's life. We just break ourselves down for everything we think we are doing right, and also every little thing we do wrong. Fortunately, it gets to a point when we realize not everything is our fault. This leads us to the last image where it emphasizes her hands. This shows the stage of a teenage girl sticking up for herself. This represents the point of maturity that a girl reaches, and makes the breakthrough that shows the most growth in a girl's life. I named this "The Gaze, The Ponder, The Fight."
