Nonney Oddlokken, a resident of St. Rose, La., creates oversized works of art celebrating the whole of Louisiana folklore. She is currently exhibiting at Southern Ohio Museum.
Oddlokken’s work has been featured in national collage magazines, blogs and in collage expositions due to her self-created genre of art. Oddlokken created her own genre in collage art by stitching many layers of handmade paper together, found imagery and to connect the elements and storytelling together, and using hundreds of yards of gold thread embellishments..
