I paint what I love, mostly inspired by nature and the figure and the play of light on an object transforming something ordinary into something spectacular. Mostly I work in oils or acrylics but I have created in almost every medium. I was born in Holland but mostly lived at USMA, West Point, NY, where I later taught painting. I began formal oil painting instruction at age 9. My passion was sparked. I studied art in N.Y. and worked briefly in NYC’s fashion industry as a digital artist but then revisited my dream and opened my art studio, TCG Studio in NY. Many years later, we moved to Charleston, SC. where I joined several galleries and gallery boards.

My gypsy soul led us to move again. I currently live in the foothills of North Carolina with my family and lovable puggle. I love to paint landscapes and figures with my family members often as my muse.I am currently exhibiting my art in 3 different states with a few pieces in the Charleston permanent collections.
