Denise Cormier Mahoney is a mid-career painter and printmaker who’s illustrative and surfaced designed compositions feature our many commonalities as humans.
Denise received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking and painting from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and her Master of Art Education from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
Her latest public art installations feature Blue Heron & Becoming What was Discovered: Beach as Illuminated Art Boxes on the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
As the president of the National Association of Women Artists, Florida Chapter, her focus is on expanding the memberships participation in professional exhibitions and encouraging members through professional development.
Her collaborative relationships with art organizations include the National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) in New York City, NAWA Florida chapter, ArtXchange in St. Petersburg, FL,
