I am a ceramics and mixed media artist based in St. Petersburg, FL. Hailing from equal parts northern California and Western Pennsylvania, I spent my adult life between NYC, PA, NJ and Lima, Peru before permanently relocating to St. Pete in early 2020 for an artist residency. I received my BFA from The NY State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and an MA in Sociology from Arizona State University. I’ve shown my work both locally and nationally since 2018 and was a 2021 emerging Florida CraftArt artist. I was most recently awarded an individual artist grant from The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, a Gobioff Foundation Microgrant, and the Creative Pinellas 2023 Emerging Artist Grant. I currently reside in Kenwood with my adult son where I’m a member of the Artist Enclave of Historic Kenwood. I had a large gap in pursuing my art professionally while I raised my son as a single parent and worked in social service throughout that time.
