Daniel Ringelberg

Daniel grew up in northern Michigan, Maryland and Florida. His father was an epidemiologist and his mother a schoolteacher. He has two brothersóboth scientistsóand two adult children.







He gathers inspiration from the earliest days of photography to create contemporary paintings and drawings using a variety of media both traditional and digital. His work has been experimenting with the area between representation and abstraction using the figure as a starting point. Dan currently divides his time between painting, design, avoiding looking at his phone and writing about himself in the third person.
