Victoria Milne uses her desire to explore and express ideas, emotions, and observations physically through sculpting. Her inspirations vary from spontaneous creations (letting shapes and textures lead her), to planned, intentional designs. Largely self-taught, she works mainly in metal, often incorporating found objects as a point of departure or accent. Her interest in contrast and fluidity is evident in her work. Using hard, sharp materials she creates soft, curvaceous forms. Jagged metal, nails and fish hooks become waves, flowers or depictions of identity and personality.



She has completed residencies at the Steel Yard in Providence, RI, was juried into prestigious shows including Artfields 2020; two Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club shows in New York city and the 2022 Showcase at Studio 80+ Sculpture Grounds. She worked as a fabrication assistant for Gilbert Boro's Studio 80 in Old Lyme, CT and has several pieces in private collections in Germany, New York and Florida.
