Lovely Destruction represents my love of cigarette smoking, but also how it is something that is slowly destroying me. The contrast between the warm pink background that somewhat engulfs me in the portrait and the dark clothes that I'm wear show that duality, being love and destruction. As one might think "why does he continue to smoke if he knows it's bad for him?" Much like many other people, this is my vice, this addiction, though it may be bad, is oh so "lovely."
