Tobi Elbel

A life-long nature and animal lover, Tobi's passion for photography was sparked



during an art class in high school. She continued to enjoy it as a hobby



sporadically through young adulthood, while exploring a varied professional



career. Becoming a parent and encouraging her son to love and embrace his



uniqueness inspired Tobi to begin creating multimedia works from her



photography, poetry, and prose, sharing them through social media outlets. Her



passion for the art was reignited, and a curiosity for new subjects, locations, and



perspectives was born. In March 2022, Tobi joined South Carolina Artists and



regularly exhibits her work in locations and festivals around the greater Columbia,



SC area, which she calls home. Her photography is now an integral part of Tobi's



new business, Birdsong Studios LLC, which combines creative arts with intuitive



arts and metaphysical gifts.
