Patrick Krohn

Patrick Krohn started off as a photojournalist for two newspapers in the West in the 1990s. His last journalism job was as the photo editor at the Augusta (GA) Chronicle. He worked as a salesperson for 12 years and has been a pricing analyst for a large multinational in Aiken, SC, since 2012. In 2019, Patrick reacquainted himself with photography. He named his business One-Eyed Dog Studios after is one-eyed rescue dog, Rogue. The bulk of his work is created while commuting to and from his full-time job. His early career as a photojournalist still influences his

art as a nature and landscape photographer in South Carolina. Patrick often returns to locations to document their rhythms and changes over time. Since 2019, Patrick has been teaching photo classes at local galleries in Aiken, SC, and Augusta, GA. His work has work displayed at galleries in SC, GA, NC, MN, TX and VT, and in private collections around the US.
