Natalie Sullivan (b. 1983, Virginia) is a contemporary fiber artist living and working in Richmond, VA. Sullivan creates textural textile sculptures that investigate the connection and fissures between humanity and nature through ancestral craft practices of woodworking, weaving and botanical dyes. Recently her work has been shown at The Library of Virginia and Gallery 5 in Richmond, Artfields in Lake City, NC, and Hilliard Galley in Kansas City, MO. She teaches at the Visual Arts Center in Richmond and will be an artist in residence at Vermont Studio Center in 2026. Sullivan holds an MFA from Pratt Institute and a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
