My name is Chris, my birth name is Iona. I am 14 years old, and I do art because I can make it my own without people telling me how to critique it. My grandmother is the one person I look up to in art. I love every single one of her paintings even the ones she painted when she could barely see.
I have anxiety and get mad and overwhelmed easily. Art makes me feel like I have something of my own. I don't get all A's, I'm not in G.A.T.E, I'm not pretty, and I don't know what I want to do with my life, but I have art. I love to draw, do watercolor, acrylics, build things from boxes, recycle items, and use clay. I also enjoy sewing and crochet. My favorite color is green. I've been able to do some murals for my neighbor's Montessori. I love working with younger kids
